Bell tower of the Church of Gabriel the Archangel of the Vladimir Parish.

The Vladimir parish was known as one of the richest in Vologda. Warm Gavriil-Archangel Church was built in 1684-1689 in the style of Russian ornamentation with funds (2,000 rubles) bequeathed by the richest Vologda merchant of the 17th century, trade guest Gavriil Matveyevich Fetiev. There is evidence that after the completion of the construction of the new temple, the old wooden temple of the Archangel Gabriel was transported to one of the volosts of the Vologda district.

The free-standing tent-roofed bell tower of the warm Vladimir church was built simultaneously with the church of Gabriel the Archangel on the model of the bell tower of St. Sophia Cathedral.

In June 1928, the workers of the main railway workshops in Vologda (900 people) called for the closure of the warm church of the Vladimir Church and "adapting it to the dining room of workers' workshops." leaving the community of one summer Vladimir temple and a bell tower. "

The decision to close the warm Archangel Gabriel Church was made on August 1, 1928, and on December 22, 1929, to close the cold Vladimir Church. The Vladimir community officially ceased to exist in January 1930.

In the 1930s, the former churches were transferred to the location of a button-comb factory. At the same time, the completion of both temples was removed, the fence with the Holy Gates was removed.
